Stepps on the Level
Stepps on the Level is the independent guidebook of businesses serving the residents of Stepps.
Published by two local mums, journalist Louise Halkett and marketing manager Pauline Connell, the first Stepps on the Level magazine was produced from our kitchen tables in February 2005.
Each month we hand-deliver a copy of the magazine to every home in Stepps and Cardowan for free: there’s also extra copies available at the library, REDS hairdressers and Stepps Therapies.
Thanks to the growing popularity of the mag, we’ve gone from strength to strength, and we now provide colour advertising, as well as fantastic value-for-money black and white options, plus a NEW ‘celebrate in print’ classified service and of course, regular updates of news, issues and events in the area.
The ‘celebrate in print’ section gives you, the readers, the chance to say congratulations, well done or good luck to friends and family. Whether it’s an engagement, new baby, special anniversary or indeed, graduation, passing a driving test or a birthday, we’d be delighted to share your news. You can choose from four different styles and prices start at just £3. So if you or your family have a special occasion coming up, why not congratulate them in print through Stepps on the Level?
And of course, we're always happy to publish community information completely free of charge. So if you have a club or event, open day or fundraiser, give us a call or drop us an email to and we'll let everyone know.
Similarly, if you have a local business, provide a service, or want to spread the word about what you do, why not check out the benefits to advertisers or give us a phone for advertising charges? We offer great discounts for block bookings, along with great value business profiles at some of the most cost-effective prices around.
